Key West Rejects That's right, three Marks and a Matt, thanks for paying attention. Alright, so let's get real. This is, after all what the Key West Rejects are all about. Real music for real people. People, everyday people with honest jobs and authentic lives that work hard and play hard. If that's not glamorous enough for you, consider heartfelt songs about love, lust, family, broken relationships, breaking relationships, good times, bad times and, well just plain old life.
From beer and whiskey laments to barn burner anthems, Stevie Ray Vaughn to Johnny Cash, Springsteen to Stevie Wonder, Jimmie Buffett to Van Morrison, the Key West Rejects embody the very essence of American roots music. And with this, the Key West Rejects add a dash of pop from across the pond. Take soulful harmony, a pinch of razor-sharp musicianship, and a heaping helping of Minneapolis and St Paul grit and you've got one of the highest and in demand headliners in the upper-Midwest live circuit with a growing and fiercely loyal following. The Key West Rejects averaged over a 160 shows a year in 2009, and in addition to performing popular songs and B-side covers, they are supporting original compositions and releasing their newest CD in 2011. Along with the addition of Bassest Mark Juenemann (Patrik Tanner & the Farway Men, Grayson, studio engineer and producer at The Brew House recording studio in Minneapolis), into the mix has been added Drummer Matt Novachis. Matt is a longtime studio session drummer. Playing with Keri Noble and Courtney Yasmineh. A guitarist, singer/songwriter Mark Lavey (The Rembrants, studio musician, solo artist). The Key West Rejects sport new faces, exceptional musicianship and a crisp energy, fused with the core heritage Mark Allen helped shape. Longtime fans haven't missed a step and fresh ears are perking up. With the collective musical accomplishments the Key West Rejects have, they are sure to keep foot stomping and libations flowing for as long as a hard earned night-on-the-town can endure. Watch out for your heart, soul and gut, because that's where they aim to hit you. |

Hitchville
It’s been two years out of the gate, and Hitchville is just getting rolling!! After a wild 2010, all the faithful “Residents of Hitchville”, both old and new, can expect a banner year for 2011. Last year, the band was blessed with the opportunity to play the same stage as some of country music’s biggest artists: from dates with Jimmy Wayne and Diamond Rio, to the famed Leinie Lodge Stage at Country Fest 2010, to a main stage slot before the Zac Brown Band at Country Splash 2010, to opening the main stage for Kenny Chesney at 2010 WE Fest. Hitchville has met some incredible people along the way and stands firmly by their claim that some of the nicest folks in the world work in this whirlwind called country music. |

Whiskey Plates Whiskey Plates band is a fairly new arrival on the regional country music scene, formed in late 2008. Frontman/Guitar player Brian Ott, and Bassist Aaron Meierhofer played together in the former rock group CBB that had been a local favorite for nearly a decade. Hillbilly Mafia
A relative newcomer, The Hillbilly Mafia, has made their mark on the Midwest music scene since it’s inception in August of 2008. Their loyal fans find them playing several times a week at clubs, bars, fairs, barns, casinos, Country Fest and supporting their favorite cause, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
The five members, from diverse backgrounds and talents, come together to create a current rockin’ country sound that keeps the crowd on its feet and coming back for more. They are unique in that they have two lead singers with very distinct vocal styles. Sonny Winberg has a traditional country voice not unlike George Strait, while Joshua Michael’s deep voice (and bass playing) provides the punch that delivers the Mafia’s high-energy, country-party style. Jeff Waldeland is multi-talented on steel guitar, electric guitar, and banjo. Kevin Milton delivers on drums and Andru Thomas completes the band with his lead guitar and back-up vocals. They have 60 years of stage experience between them and the members have performed with national acts like Joe Nichols, Jason Aldean, Confederate Railroad, and Craig Morgan.
The Hillbilly Mafia plays current Top-40 Country hits as well as Haggard, Williams and Cash classics. Always mixing it up and keeping it fresh, and with a Nashville album coming late this summer, they are not-to-be missed! |

Shane Wyatt Born in a small town in south central Oklahoma and raised by a family of cowboys and truckers, Shane Wyatt was naturally drawn to country music from an early age. At age 10, Shane started playing fiddle – taking lessons from the legendary Benny Kubiak. By his mid teens he was playing in local bands, first with other teenagers, and later with more experienced musicians (often, they would have to sneak the under-age fiddle player in the back door). Shane started playing guitar at 14, and he immediately started putting the songs he had been writing to music. Shane’s singing and songwriting was heavily influenced by the soulful country singers whose pain and joy was so evident in every song they sang – Keith Whitley, Merle Haggard and Alan Jackson. Experienced musicians with talent and energy you won’t find on any other stage! These guys have so much fun on stage, its impossible to not have fun when you're watching |

Heroes & Thieves Heroes & Thieves has been in the Midwest music scene since the Fall of 2004, crisscrossing the region countless times in pursuit the perfect show! Nights to remember have manifested from the mix of smoke and neon, and just as many nights have been forgotten and left behind, along with empty bottles of Budweiser and Jim Beam. Along the way the members of Heroes & Thieves learned what is was really like to be a working musician. The joy and the heartache, the thrill of a pulsing audience and the agony of missing the people they love. The realities of traveling with a band and crew in a cramped van, and the teachings and wisdom of those who have gone before us and have shared the wisdom and visions of how it could have been. What has been absorbed has led to more than one good song, with many more to come! |
